World Riveting Congress scheduled for September
Goebel Germany is inviting buyers, distributors and manufacturers to its World Riveting Congress in September to discover the latest developments in blind rivets and riveting machines, plus insightful technical lectures, with some time for some fun as well.
The World Riveting Congress (WRC2024) is set to be the top event of the year for those involved in rivets. Goebel Germany is the host for the three day event held at the company’s facilities outside Dusseldorf and in nearby locations from 26 to 28 September 2024.
The programme will run in both German and English and features an impressive line-up of technical lecture speakers including Fraunhofer Institute, Deloitte, Smart Cert and many more. The event is aimed at buyers, distributors and manufacturers interested in blind riveting fasteners. Topics covered include corrosion and surface protection, SMART batch traceability, standards, new products, case studies, ESG supply chain law and much more.
A Kenworth truck from the USA and used by the American armed forces in Iraq will be on display. The vehicle was restored with the GGrip® from Goebel at the plant. GGrip is the new and innovative all stainless steel multirange locking ring bolt system. There will also be tours of the Goebel factory to see how blind rivets are manufactured with the predicate Made in Germany. In the new showroom, ‘Riveting World,’ guests will get the chance to test the latest blind rivet developments and the new riveting machines, such as robot arms and automatic feeding systems.
There is an opening party in one of the most famous clubs in Düsseldorf on the 27th, where guests can celebrate the opening of Made in Germany. To end the WRC2024 on the 28th, there will be a golf tournament – Texas Scramble style, for willing participants.
The space and availability to attend is limited. Goebel as the host carry all costs except the travel expenses. If you want to join, please send a qualified application to: [email protected] to review it.
